Antique hand embroidered and crewel work throw measuring 65×69 inches with fringe on 2 sides. Monochromatic colors in cream and brown that may have originally been red. The embroidery is on linen and executed in wool. There is a linen backing. Entirely constructed by hand. In fair condition with fading and several large spots and discolorations. This item was part of Laura Fisher’s estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
