Antique 19th century 4 block applique quilt measuring 72×74 inches. It is listed in Brackman’s as pattern number 18.85. It hand pieced, hand appliqued and hand applied red piping between the blocks, and sawtooth border, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and off white cotton reverse. It is in poor condition with overall discoloration, wear to the turkey red fabrics, wear to the piping, and spots. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures.
