2 19th century dresses include the bodices and skirts. Both are silk. One is black, the other purple. Also included is a lace vest and a grey wool shawl or blanket. Both dresses are hand and machine made. Both close up the front with hook and eyes, and all are present. Each has a small amount of lace on the cuff of the long sleeve. Both were found with a note that the dress was worn in 1915 by Ruthanna Sharpless, and that she was a Quaker. Also included is a navy blue velvet bonnet and a black velvet dress piece. The dresses are in fair condition. The purple has several small holes. The black one has some homes and splits in the silk. The lace vest has a large hole. The grey shawl has small moth holes. The bonnet lining has separated from the bonnet but is still intact. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
