Vintage 1929 linen suit with pants and jacket by H J Toner and Company, Boston, made in March of 1929. Pants are 35 waist by 32 length, adjustable in the back, with button closure. The jacket measures 15.5 inches across the shoulders, 31 inches long and sleeves are 25 inches long. In good condition with some spots and storage marks. The button on jacket may not be original. This item was part of Laura Fisher’s estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
