We are in the process of having this lot authenticated. Please be patient, thank you ! Group of 6 antique hat pins, all test positive for gold, none are positive to a magnet. Includes a Rooster with a red eye, a carved wood scarab beetle, a small star with a pearl center, a pearl petal flower with blue center stone, a gold knot with a diamond center (tested positive), and a single freshwater pearl wrapped in gold. Only the diamond and freshwater pearl have markings, that appear to be 14k. Very hard to discern, so I tested all for 14k, and all tested positive. Total weight is about 17 grams. Weights are given as a courtesy and are not guaranteed, we use a basic DigiWeigh scale and are not professional jewelers. We would be happy to repat gold test via video if requested. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Depending on how many lots we can pack, it may cost an additional $5. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Updated 8/22/2022 5:50PM. A jeweler confirmed that the pin with knot has a small diamond and is 14k gold. Pin with single pearl is also gold. Pin with pearl flowers and blue stone is also set in gold. Pearls are also authentic. Rooster may be only gold plated. Scarab Beetle and Star with Pearl are not believed to be gold.
