Antique c1900s Red and White Medallion Quilt measuring 73×84 inches, with hand embroidered Lucia in the center. It is hand pieced, and the red dogtooth frame is hand appliqued to the white ground. It is expertly hand quilted with a hanging grid in the center surrounded by a feathered wreath, diagonal lines, and clamshell overall quilting in the red. There is a white cotton reverse, thin cotton batting, and applied red binding by hand. It is in good condition with minor fading, some wear to the binding and faint storage line discoloration down the center. There is a hand applied sleeve to the back top edge, for hanging.
