Antique c1850 Old Fashion Rose Variation Quilt measuring 81×81 inches. Comprised of 9 blocks, 25.5×25.5 inches, set straight, 3 by 3, with a triple border of green, white, and red. It is hand pieced, hand applied and hand quilted. White cotton reverse with thing cotton batting. Edge is finished with an applied green print binding. On the back is a hand inked drawing of a woman sitting by a column with a steamship in the background. She is holding a Liberty Cap on a pole and a Masonic shield with an arm and hammer. It is in poor condition with the red fabric popping and deteriorating, overall toning and spots, and a small tea in the binding. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
