Antique c1880s Mennonite Cherry Basket Quilt believed Hanover Pennsylvania. It measures about 80 x 80". Comprised of 25 basket blocks measuring 9.5 x 9.5", set on point, 5×5, with solid orange alternating squares and triangles. There is a 7.5 inch wide solid green border. It is hand and machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. There is a very thin cotton batting and a blue, black, and white stripe print reverse. It is in good condition with a few small spots.
