Vintage String Star Quilt. Measuring 68×84 inches. We believe the top is c1890s but finished in the 20th century. Comprised of 30 string pieced stars that measure about 13.5×13.5 inches. Interesting construction because the stars are actually formed in the sashing around the 8×8 inch red print squares. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. There is a thin polyester batting and a pink chambray backing. The edge is finished with the backing brought to the front and applied by machine. In very good condition with a few small spots. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
