Vintage Improved 9 Patch Signature or name inscribed Quilt Top measuring about 80×94 inches. There are 42 blocks, set straight, 6 by 7. Quilt top is believe to be multi generational and made by Nancy Skinner and Mary Skinner from Indiana, with 57 names and locations in pencil, and many hand embroidered over. The quilt mentions, "Pieced by Nancy Skinner in 1935 Born July 13 – 1865 Ind. Died Dec 1942 Age 77". It is clear from the signatures that the maker didn’t add all the names as she had a death date is listed on the quilt. This is just a quilt top with no batting, backing, or quilting.
