Vintage c1940s Blue and White Hand Embroidered Quilt measuring 70 x 96 inches. Comprised of 12 hand embroidered squares 16.5×16.5 inches, set straight 3 by 4 with 5" vertical sashing and 6.5" horizontal sashing. There is a 5" border on the sides and a 6" border on the top and bottom. It is machine pieced, hand embroidered and hand quilted. There is a white cotton reverse and cotton batting. The edge is finished knife edge style and stitched by hand. The blocks are maybe a Rainbow Company pattern. It is in poor condition with overall toning, large spots and significant edge wear to the top and bottom. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
