Lot 11:
Vintage c1930s quilt measuring 70" x 72". Comprised of four blocks, 24" x 24" with purple grapes and leaves. They are set straight 2 x 2 with 7.5" wide sashing with more vines with grapes and leaves and a 7" border with more grapes and leaves. It is hand pieced, hand appliqued and hand quilted, with very thin cotton batting and an off white cotton backing. The edge is finished with a purple bias binding applied by hand. The design is similar to the Mountain Mist Marth’s Vineyard pattern, but different. It is in good condition with some fading and major storage line discolorations in the folds and other small spots. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
