2 Antique French 19th Century Textile Document Portfolios. Includes Soieries Marocaines – Les Centures de Fes. Paris: Librairie Centrale des Beaux-Arts, no date, circa 1910. Scarce. 44 of the original 50 colored and mounted plates (complete), all loose as issued of Islamic and North African textiles (missing 3,13,20,23,29, and 42). The covers are separated, and the pages are very fragile and brittle. Many are torn, and edges are knicked. Overall fair condition, but a very rare piece! Also is included Materiaux & Documents d’Art Decoratif – Indiennes- 3rd Series, edited by Armand Guerinet, Paris. It is complete with all 50 plates. They are loose. Many color, but most are black and white. Covers are detached. This is in better condition that the other book, but still fair condition. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
