Antique c1870s Silk Quilt Top Fragment with Ribbons. This piece appears to have been a border for a quilt top at one point. There are many quilt blocks in the border, as well as a few small blocks. The gold outer border in silk ribbon. It is hand pieced. Someone with time and patience can take this apart to repurpose the blocks and silk. A few fabrics are showing some deterioration, which leads me to believe this is earlier silk than 1890s. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
