Antique c1880 Kansas Troubles Quilt measuring 83×85 inches. Comprised of 9 blocks, 14.5×14.5, set on point, 3 by 3, with brown print alternating squares, setting triangles and 11.5 inch border. The consistent use of the brown print gives the madder windmill shapes a floating effect. There is a thin cotton batting and a brown on white floral strip print reverse. The madder print is applied to the edge by machine. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. In very good condition. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
