Antique c1890s Court House Steps quilt measuring 74" x 82", comprised of 90 blocks about 8.5" x 8.5", set straight 9 x 10. It is hand pieced on a cotton print fabric foundation, whip stitched together like a pot holder quilt. There is no batting and no quilting. The edge is finished with a brown print applied binding. Many early fabrics, including chintzes, turkey reds, Prussian blues, centennial greens, madders, and more. It is in poor condition with several small spots, wear across the center, fabric deterioration, holes and edge wear. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
