Vintage 1955 Apple Core signature quilt measuring 70" x 89", comprised of 99 blocks about 7.5" x 7.5", set straight 9 x 11. It is hand pieced, hand embroidered and hand quilted. It is a blue cotton poly reverse. Edges are finished with back brought to the front creating a blue border and applied by hand. One blocks states "First Assembly WMC Group 1955". All other blocks include hand embroidered names including reverends, individuals and couples. In fair condition with several spots, water marks, and fading. We will include a piece of paper from 2023 that may indicate that research was started on the quilt; it may be from Missouri. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
