Group includes a 1924 Redwork Quilt measuring 79 x 77″. Comprised of 64 blocks, 8 x 8″, set straight, 8 x 8, with a 9 inch white solid border. It is hand embroidered machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting white cotton reverse in the edge is finished with the front brought to the back and applied by hand. It is in fair condition with significant damage to the top border and edge. Also edge wear along the sides. But the body of the quilt is in very good condition. Some wonderful motifs include botanicals, birds, animals, figures, and so much more. Also included is a yellow hand embroidered summer quilt with a girl in a fancy dress holding a basket. There are birds and other flower motifs around her. The summer quilt measures 66 x 82″. It is machine pieced and embroidered and machine quilted, though there is no batting. There is a yellow backing. In fair condition with significant fading and spots. And a small red work crib quilt measuring 20 x 35″. I believe the blocks are antique in the quilts more recently made within the past three decades. It is hand embroidered machine pieced and hand quilted. In good condition with a few small spots. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
