Vintage c1960s Poppy Kit Quilt measuring 78″ x 97″. Similar to the 1950s Lee Ward Traditional Poppy, but with different quilting design. It is hand appliqued, hand embroidered, machine pieced and hand quilted. Polyester batting with white backing and light green bias tape edge. In good condition with several scattered spots and storage discoloration. This quilt is part of the Living Estate of widely respected Sharon Stark of Sharon’s Antiques Vintage Fabrics and Textiles of Eastern PA. She was an author and long time collector and dealer of antique quilts, fabrics and textiles. Sharon is the authority on Feedsacks, and you may remember her Rickrack website.
