Vintage PA Brides White Whole cloth Quilt measuring 76×77″. It is beautifully hand quilted with a feathered wreath in the center, and at each corner and side of the field. The border is quilted in a quadruple cable motif. Diagonal lines and hanging grids cover all the other empty space. There is thin cotton batting and white reverse. There is a narrow applied white binding to the edges. The quilt is in good condition with several large and dark spots and storage discoloration, which should soak out. This quilt is part of the Living Estate of widely respected Sharon Stark of Sharon’s Antiques Vintage Fabrics and Textiles of Eastern PA. She was an author and long time collector and dealer of antique quilts, fabrics and textiles. Sharon is the authority on Feedsacks, and you may remember her Rickrack website.
