Antique c1890 Tumbling Blocks Quilt Top measuring 58×68″. Comprised of a variety or period prints and solids in diamond shapes that are 3.5″ along one side. Fabric placement creates the 3D tumbling blocks design. It is hand pieced. It is just a quilt top with no batting, backing, or quilting. In good condition with just a few small spots. Nice, crisp, ready to be quilted! Fabrics include Garibaldi reds, browns, indigo, madders, cheddar, chrome yellow, shirtings, and more. This quilt top is part of the Living Estate of widely respected Sharon Stark of Sharon’s Antiques Vintage Fabrics and Textiles of Eastern PA. She was an author and long time collector and dealer of antique quilts, fabrics and textiles. Sharon is the authority on Feedsacks, and you may remember her Rickrack website.
