Antique c1890 Uneven 9 Patch Quilt Top measuring 70×71″. Comprised of 36 blocks, 7.5×7.5″, set straight, 6 by 6, with 3.25-3.5″ sashing in several blue and black prints, and 6″ border in green and blue prints. It is hand pieced. It is just a quilt top with no batting, backing, or quilting. In good condition with a few small spots. Workmanship is on the primitive side. This quilt top is part of the Living Estate of widely respected Sharon Stark of Sharon’s Antiques Vintage Fabrics and Textiles of Eastern PA. She was an author and long time collector and dealer of antique quilts, fabrics and textiles. Sharon is the authority on Feedsacks, and you may remember her Rickrack website.
