Antique c1890 4 Patch measuring 52×54″. Comprised of 306 squares, 2.5×2.5″, set straight 17 by 18, with 153 pieced 4 Patch blocks and 306 alternating squares in a pink, almost red fabric. Nice small scale! There is a green and pink double border 2.25″. It is hand pieced. Nice variety of prints: indigo, claret, turkey red, browns, mourning prints and more. This is just a quilt top with no batting, backing, or quilting. In good condition with a few small spots. This quilt top is part of the Living Estate of widely respected Sharon Stark of Sharon’s Antiques Vintage Fabrics and Textiles of Eastern PA. She was an author and long time collector and dealer of antique quilts, fabrics and textiles. Sharon is the authority on Feedsacks, and you may remember her Rickrack website.
