Antique c1870 3 Pc Silk Dress with Chinoiserie Print. We believe this may be a copy of a 1770s dress, perhaps a costume. Constructed by hand and machine. Jacket is lined with cotton and has long sleeves and hook and eye closures down the front. Sleeves are cuffed with lace. In the back the bottom tapers to a V and is embellished in brown velvet. Skirt has detachable panniers. Measures flat 14 Bust, 12 Waist, 21 Arms, Skirt is 37" long. Displayed on a child mannequin. Jacket is not fully closed. In fair condition with splits to silk and the skirt panniers, spots on the bodice. Please see all the photos for additional imperfections.
