Fall Antique & Vintage Quilt & Textile Auction
Antique Crazy Quilt measuring 71”x89” with a 3” cotton twist fringe on all four sides. It is comprised of 20 blocks about 17×17”, set straight, 4×5. There is a 3” yellow border. The backing is a green cotton print. The quilt blocks were pieced on a newspaper foundation which is still inside the quilt and visible through several areas. It is hand and machine pieced/appliqued and hand embroidered. There is minimal hand quilting. One newspaper evident is from 1922 possibly Warsaw Union from Indiana. Fabrics include silks, satins, and dress rayons. It is in fair condition with several fabrics shattering (about 25). If you have any doubt, please ask questions! In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
