Antique c1890 9 Patch Quilt measuring 67×90”. Comprised of 48 blocks, 11×11”, set straight, 6×8. The color placement of the light and dark fabrics create a sunshine and shadows effect. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted, thin cotton batting and a beige cotton reverse. The edge is finished with a red cotton solid fabric binding. It is in good condition with overall toning small spots, minor fading, and fabric bleeding. One fabric is starting to split. Nice variety of period prints including mourning prints, double pinks, shirtings, garibaldi red, early purples, and more. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
