Antique 1836 Tied Beiderwand Coverlet by Henry Brehm of Wolelsdorf, Berks PA, woven P.K. Karshner. Measures 80×95” with a 3” fringe along 3 sides, the seam down the center is hand stitched.. Believed to be cotton and wool. There is apparently 12 known examples from this weaver. Includes a copy of American Coverlets and Their Weavers. In very good condition.
