Antique c1880 Double Irish Chain Quilt, measures 88×91”. Comprised of 110 blocks 8.5×8.5”, set straight, 10×11, with 55 pieced 25 blocks and alternating white blocks with indigo squares appliqued in the corners. It is hand pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. Edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. Quilt uses a nice early double pink and 2 indigo fabrics. It is in fair condition with a large water stain, small spots and two indigo fabrics with small holes that do not go through to the back. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
