Antique Texas Lily quilt measuring 76″ x 81″. It is comprised of 33 blocks, 9 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ set on point, in a streak of lightning setting with 4 1/2″ cream sashing pieces. Setting triangles are partial blocks, as well as, the cream solid. Medium loft cotton batting and an off-white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, applied by hand. Hand pieced and hand quilted in a Baptist fan motif. It is in poor condition with several areas of fading, discoloration, spots, and small holes. There are 3 areas noted of completed conservation and the quilt was found with fabrics to assist with the continued conservation. Quilt is believed to have come from Texas. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
