Vintage c1930s Memory Bouquet Quilt Measuring 52 by 78 inches. It is comprised of 20 blocks, 7 1/2 by 10/2 inches, set straight, 4 by 5, with 4 inch solid green sash and borders. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand embroidered. The buttonhole stitches are masterful! It is hand quilted in a hanging diamond overall pattern. Beautiful workmanship! These blocks were published in the Kansas City Star newspaper in the 1930s, designed by Eveline Foulard. There is a thin cotton batting and off white cotton reverse, and the edges are finished with and applied solid green binding. It is in good condition with just a few small spots and light toning along and edge. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance.
