Antique Early Victorian Silver and Old Mine Diamond Swallow Brooch/Pendant. This charming early victorian swallow brooch features 19 old mine cut diamonds that are bead set throughout the body of the brooch as well as 2 tiny rose cut garnet eyes. The old mine diamonds rings in size from 1-2 mm. The tail of the swallow has lovely embossed details and has both a C clasp and a small bail (in need of a new jump ring) to be worn as either a brooch or a If you have any doubt, please ask questions! There is a threaded hole beneath the head that would have most likely been used to attach the brooch to a to a hair comb or diadem.
