3 Vintage Childrens Kit Quilts includes Gingham Dog and Calico Cat Crib Quilt, while this kit has been around since 1967, I think this is the 1978 Herrschners version. There is a date hand embroidered on the bottom corner of 1955. It measures 39.5 inches by 60 inches, and is pre quilted, has straight edges, and butterflies like the 1978 version. The second one is Jack and Jill, c1940s, hand appliqued, hand embroidered and hand quilted. The edges are unfinished. It measures 26 inches by 38 inches. And thelast one is Wynken, Blynken, and Nod, c1940s, hand appliqued, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. 39 inches by 54 inches. The edges are worn and the black embroidery thread is disintegrating.It is hand embroidered, mostly in cross stitch. Thin batting, white cotton backing, and white commercial bias tape edge applied by machine to front and hand to back. In very good condition. One small pink mark on the top.
