Antique Marseilles Bedspread measuring 80×76 inches with an additional 5 inch crochet edge on 3 sides. Rococo scrolls and leaves center medallion with a frame of flowers and leaves and a border of trapunto diamonds. All the elements are trapunto. It is in good condition with several yellow spots and storage discoloration in the folds. This textile was part of Laura Fisher’s estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
