Antique needlepoint sampler verse worked by Anna Maria Armstrong in 1842, large bouquet of flowers in the center with more baskets and urns of flowers, stars, and a red house on the bottom. It is framed and under glass. Measures 18 x 20 inches. Frame is in fair condition with paint loss, scratches and dents. Textile is in good condition with some age discoloration and minor thread loss. This item was part of Laura Fisher’s estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
