Antique Carolina Lily Quilt 1850-1860s measuring 97×78 inches. Consists of 30 blocks, set on point 6 by 5, with solid off white alternating squares and setting triangles. Consistent Turkey Red print, and overdyed green print throughout the quilt. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton solid reverse. Edge is finished by the back being brought to the front and applied by hand at a 1/4 inch wide. It is hand pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted with a feathered circle in the alternating squares and clamshells in the setting triangles. In good condition with some spots, watermarks, and storage line discoloration. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Depending on how many lots we can pack, it may cost an additional $5.
