Vintage c1950 Blockaide or Four-Corner Puzzle quilt measuring 66″ x 78″. Comprised of 195 blocks, 5.5″ x 5.5″ set straight 13 x 15, with 98 squares and 97 alternating yellow print squares. It is hand and machined pieced, and hand quilted. There s a cotton batting and blue cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by machine. It is in good condition with a few small spots, minor wear to the back and a split seam. . Workmanship is a little primitive. This quilt is part of the Living Estate of widely respected Sharon Stark of Sharon’s Antiques Vintage Fabrics and Textiles of Eastern PA. She was an author and long time collector and dealer of antique quilts, fabrics and textiles. Sharon is the authority on Feedsacks, and you may remember her Rickrack website.
