Vintage c1930 Overall Bill quilt measuring 68″ x 72″. Comprised of 9 block, 16″ x 18″, set straight 3 x 3, with 1.5″ red sashing, white cornerstones, inner border and a 6″ off white outer border. It is hand appliqued, hand pieced, hand embroidered and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. Edge is finished with a red fabric binding. In good condition with several small spots, a large spot on the border and multiple ink marks. This quilt is part of the Living Estate of widely respected Sharon Stark of Sharon’s Antiques Vintage Fabrics and Textiles of Eastern PA. She was an author and long time collector and dealer of antique quilts, fabrics and textiles. Sharon is the authority on Feedsacks, and you may remember her Rickrack website.
