Edwardian White Linen and Machine Lace Gown with long sleeves. The skirt is pleated. It is very heavy. The back closes with a series of hook and eyes to both the linen and the lace. There is a tag on the inside John Forsythe Broadway, NY. This may have been used as a theater costume in his work after he retired from movies. Machine constructed. Measures laying flat 19" bust, 15" waist, 22" hips, 26" sleeves, 58" long from shoulder to hem. It is in fair condition with some small spots, discolorations, loss to lace and missing closures.
