Vintage c1930 Philadelphia Pavement Quilt measuring 68”x84”. The center field 45”x62” is comprised of 1” squares, if you stare at it long enough you will notice the fabric placement between prints, white solid, and pastel solid that creates an organized pattern. It is followed by a 3.5” white, yellow, white triple border, a pieced square 4” border, again with the pastel solid fabrics creating a zig zag design, followed by a 1” white border and a 3” yellow border. All hand pieced and hand quilted. There is a medium loft cotton batting and a yellow cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in good condition with a few small spots and a small tear in one of the white borders . If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
