Antique 19th century red and green floral applique quilt measuring 82″x 71″. It is comprised of 9 large applique blocks about 17″ x 17″, set straight , 3×3, with 8″ off-white sashing and appliqued flower cornerstones. There is a thin cotton batting, off-white cotton reverse and a red cotton solid fabric binding finishes the edge. There is a 4″ undulating vine with flower bud applique border. Very unusual pattern incorporating what looks like oak leaves, acorns, roses & buds. It is hand pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted. It is in good condition with a few small, dark spots and edge wear. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance.
