Antique c1860s Carolina Lilly Quilt with Swag and Tassel Border measures 74 by 88″. It is comprised of 20 Carolina Lilly pieced and appliquéd blocks, 9.5 by 9.5 inches, set on point, 4 by 5, with solid off white alternating squares and setting triangles. There is an 11 inch border on all 4 sides with a swag and tassel motif. There is an off white cotton reverse, thin batting, and a solid cheddar fabric finishes the edge. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. It is in good condition with just a few small spots, and minor abrading to the Turkey red fabric. There is a sleeve along the top on the back for hanging. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance.
